A place where both the coffee and food are increible! With Lilac Eatery currently working the kitchen, the food is special. The turkish eggs were some of the best I have had! The coffee is also great, I have had a few different drinks from the and all have been really well made. The pour over I have from the source in Edinburgh was some of the best coffee I have tried. Definitely one of the best cafes in Nottingham!
Hands down the best ever coffee shop that I have ever been to! Family-run, with grandma making the cakes. So much love, care and attention paid to every product. The staff are also incredible, with a warm welcome and smile throughout. Was impressed by the knowledge of each of their products too, and the coffees they have are all outstanding. We ate here on two days and the food really is wonderful. Highly recommend both the French toast bun with ricotta and compote, as well as the brioche bun with truffle, mushrooms and eggs. Will definitely return when we are back in Nottingham!
Absolutely love speciality coffee for a delicious brunch. We ordered a range of mains and everyone found them fantastic. I ordered the potato hash and my only critique would be offering halloumi instead of avocado as a vegetarian option so it is more equivalent to bacon. That being said, I was given plenty of avocado! They also had a range of coffees and gut friendly drinks. Everything was reasonably priced. The location itself is in town. It is quite a small shop so sometimes you have to wait around 20-30 minutes but it was definitely worth it. I would come back.
The french toast was like no french toast we get in America. There was a little too much cream if there is a thing but it almost tasted like a donut. It was sugary, crispy, and devine! I'm thankful I do not live close cause I'd want to eat it often. The coffee was delicious also!
This place is amazing! delicious food, good service and atmosphere. I definitely would visit again! The Ube french toast and chai latte were my favorites😍You can tell everything is made with love here.
🥑 I had the avocado on toast which was delicious and an ice latte with oat milk. The food is really good quality and feels very fresh. This is reflected in the price. 🧋 Iced latte was also delicious! Food came quickly. I'd love to see a few more vegan options 🙏 It was very busy because this is very popular! For that reason I found it a little loud (ofcourse the café can't do anything about this, but worth noting)
I had the Turkish eggs here and they were absolutely delicious – full of flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was great, and the two waitresses gave amazing customer service, friendly and attentive throughout. Even though it was busy and the food took a little while, it was definitely worth the wait. Honestly, everything was fantastic. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back
Lovely little cafe. The coffee was insane. Really wish I’d grabbed a bag but was lovely. Had the Lilac muffin. Absolutely amazing. Deffo recommend getting it. Prices were reasonable
Gem of a place. Cracking coffee and super tasty food. Had the weekend special 'Gochu eggs' first day, and came back for the Turkish Eggs with avo, with a Cappucino the next.
Oh my god the food was absolutely amazing!! i ordered the turkish eggs and my partner ordered the buttermilk burger and we loved it. the iced chai was a little powdery but still enjoyable. the staff are so super lovely and for our first time coming here i would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a lovely brunch spot!
